Dear Parents, Students, and Visitors, <A Warm Welcome to All at International Public School
It brings me immense joy to extend a heartfelt welcome to everyone at International Public School.
Allow me to take you back to the beginning — to the days when the idea of establishing educational institutions first took root in my heart.
At the time, I was practicing as a homeopathic doctor, when the thought of contributing something more meaningful and lasting to society began to take shape.
As a child, I often accompanied my late father, Md. Atique Imam, on evening walks. During those moments, he would speak with great wisdom.

One thought he shared remained etched in my memory:
"Things that are established are often destined to fade within three generations."
His words resonated deeply within me and sparked a desire to build something that would defy time — something that would endure for generations to come.
This vision led me on a journey of exploration. I visited renowned educational institutions across India, including Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi University, and the newly established Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at that time.
What inspired me most was how, despite the passage of time and the loss of their founders, these institutions continued to thrive. Their spirit lived on — carried forward by generations of students and alumni who had spread across the nation and the world.
It was in those moments that I found my calling.
Thus, in 1983, the Millia Educational Trust (MET) was born — the foundation upon which all our present and future educational institutions stand.
That same year, I also married my beloved wife, Shabana Perween. With the responsibilities of family life, a medical practice, and a newly founded trust, challenges naturally followed.
But I owe so much to her — a woman of immense strength, patience, and unwavering support. Her presence was a blessing, a constant source of encouragement, and her belief in our shared vision became a pillar of strength in my journey.
Through persistent effort, divine grace, and the unwavering support of the people of Purnea and countless others, the Millia Educational Trust has grown into a family of 22+ institutions — encompassing schools, colleges, and professional training centers.
But our journey does not end here.
With faith in our mission and a firm commitment to the future, we are now moving forward to establish Millia University and the Millia Institute of Medical Sciences, which will provide world-class education and healthcare facilities to this region.
International Public School stands as a particularly special chapter in this story. It is a tribute to the vision, passion, and dream of my late daughter and Assistant Director of MET, Dr. Sanober Tasnime.
This institution was her dream project — to create a school that would offer quality education, especially for girls, empowering them to lead with knowledge, confidence, and purpose.
As we carry her dream forward, we remain committed to excellence in education, character-building, and community upliftment.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the Almighty, to the people of Purnea, and to every stakeholder who has supported this journey.
Your trust and belief have been our greatest strength.
Let us continue this mission together — for the generations of today and tomorrow.
