Teaching, Learning and the Curriculum

OUR CURRICULUM

Students are given strong foundation of social, emotional, physical and academic skills to become productive learners, effective communicators and responsible students. We lay stress on activity based integrated learning.

  • Multisensory thematic, play way approach is followed to broaden the outlook of the child, enabling him/her to become a keen observer and ‘out of the box thinker’.
  • Our enriched curriculum is designed to capitalize on each child’s latent talents and gives opportunity to explore and learn.
  • Emphasis is also laid on developing language, visual and listening skills.
  • Every child’s preferred learning style -Audio, Visual, and Kinesthetic is kept in mind while designing activities to cater to individual differences and provide optimal learning for all.
  • Our Curriculum offers opportunities to students for hands-on exploration and discovery that foster confidence as well as help them to develop critical thinking skills.

The Curriculum is based on objectives for development and learning. These objectives are fully aligned with the formative years of child development and our learning framework. Our curriculum is designed to offer individualized instruction and meet the needs of every learner, with a particular focus on English language development.

  1. Personal, social and emotional development (PSED)
  2. Communication, language and literacy (CLL)
  3. Mathematical development (MD)

PRE-PRIMARY NURSERY
LKG & UKG

The pre-primary wing of the school comprises classes of nursery and prep and caters to the needs and demands of early childhood learning.

Bearing in mind that at this age the foundation of a child's personality is laid and two-third of his intellect is formed, we have created an environment and a system of teaching which is entirely child-friendly.

The classes are housed in Block which is their exclusive domain and it is here that they learn social skills, free-play, develop the verbal ability and imbibe the skills and joy of creating things with their own hands through art and crafts which is an integral part of the curriculum.
